Taylor Swift’s Four Songs Make To Billboard Top Ten At Once

Taylor Swift surely knows how to make it to the top. She became the third artist and the first woman to have four songs listed in Billboard’s top 10 at the same time.

Billboard responded by saying that Taylor Swift made it as the first woman in the six-decade history of album charts.

Her latest release, “Speak Now,” itself is a rage, and it is the biggest release this year has had. It debuted at the number 1 position, and it’s her twelfth album to hold the numero uno position.

Breaking records seems to be Taylor Swift’s forte. With her Speak Now topping the chart, she beats Barbra Streisand to get the position of a female artist with the most number of albums, making it to the number one position.

Along with Speak Now placed at number 1, Taylor Swift has Midnights at number 5, Lover at number 7, and Folklore at number 10. Also, four of the five best debuts of the last five years are now attributed to this 33-year-old singer. Speak Now joins the number five position preceded by Adele’s album 30, released in 2021.

Talking about facts and figures. Taylor Swift’s Speak Now makes a debut on the Billboard 200 with “716,000 album-equivalent units.” This figure is a combination of digital and physical sales figures. It leaves the second-best debut of the year, “Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time,” far behind. One Thing at a Time, released in March, opened with 50100 units.

Further, this album is enjoying the largest week among all the albums released in 2023. And the great thing is that the figures are the best, even if we consider the albums released after Taylor’s Midnights in October 2022.

Indeed, Taylor Swift’s campaign to remake all the songs recorded for Big Machine, her previous label, has been successful. To date, she has released three remakes of her original tracks. Speak Now is even the most prominent hit among these three.

The other two artists to have four songs simultaneously charted at U.S. Billboard’s Top 10 are Prince and Herp Albert. Prince’s songs charted in the top 10 posthumously, and it happened after he died in 2016. So, as a living artist, Taylor Swift makes the record after Herp Albert, who enjoyed this glory back in 1966.
