Queen Of Pop Madonna Reflects On Hospitalization, Thanking Her “Lucky Stars” She’s Alive
On Sunday, the Queen of Pop, Madonna, shared an Instagram post reflecting on her being hospitalized and how she was forced to postpone her Celebration tour. She further stressed the fact that she is “lucky to be alive,” and how her children helped her throughout the time.
In the Instagram post, she wrote, “Love from family and friends is the best Medicine. One month out of the hospital and I can reflect.” She wrote this post alongside a picture of her with her second son, David Banda, and her eldest daughter, Lourdes.
Madonna further wrote in the post, saying, “As a mother, you can really get caught up in the needs of your children and the seemingly endless giving…
But when the chips weredown my children really showed up for me. I saw a side of them I had never seen before. It made all the difference. So did the love and support from my friends.”
Madonna has six children in total; her eldest daughter from personal trainer and actor Carlos Leon, and her son from her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. She then adopted four children, David, Mercy James, and twins Estere and Stella.
The singer, in a post, thanked her long time manager Guy Oseary, who gave her a gift of angels; she wrote, “I sobbed when I opened this gift because I realized how lucky I am to be alive. And how fortunate I am to have known these people and somany others who are also gone.”
