1989 (Taylor’s Version) Vault Songs Names Are Finally Released After Google’s Technical Glitches
“Oh look, you did it!”
It was Taylor Swift’s message as the names of the songs in her album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), were revealed. The pop sensation and billboard-topper had partnered with Google this time to offer a fun game to her fans worldwide. But all did not go well when her fans tried to take part in the game and solve the puzzles to reveal the names of the songs.
On Tuesday, Google came up with an announcement on 19th September, saying that its search function would open up a series of 89 puzzles in sync with the name of Taylor’s album. Fans would have to solve all these quizzes in order to know the names of the songs.
Google announced, “You’ll be helping Swifties around the world get out of the woods (or unlock the vault) as everyone collectively solves 33 million puzzles. And that’s how it works, that’s how you get the vault track titles!”
Anticipations were already high when Taylor Swift declared the re-recording of her album 1989 in the last month. She also promised 1989 (Taylor’s Version) to have some unreleased songs like her other albums, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version).
But many fans were disappointed when they tried to crack the puzzles. With time, Google acknowledged the glitch and solved the problem within late Tuesday evening. Fans could again take part in the game from Tuesday evening, and within 20th September, Wednesday morning, 33 million puzzles were solved.
Once 33 million puzzles were solved, a key to open the vault became visible on Google’s search engine. Then, the vault was unlocked, and a voice note from Taylor Swift revealed the name of the songs.
The titles of the songs in her 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album are:
-
“Now That We Don’t Talk”
-
“Suburban Legends”
-
“Say Don’t Go”
-
“Is It Over Now?”
Swift revealed the name of the fifth track in the album in her Tuesday Instagram post, which has scrambled letters. And putting an end to the speculations of her friends, she finally revealed that the name of the fifth track is “Slut.”
