Madonna broke her silence on Instagram over her recent health scare with a bacterial infection. The 64-year-old Queen of Pop announced on Instagram that she is on the road to recovery and soon going to reschedule her much anticipated Celebration Tour.
On Monday, she wrote on Instagram with a selfie of herself, “Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers, and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love.” She continued by saying, “My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children.”
Then she continued by saying, “My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.”

Madonna further continued, “My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can! The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and begin in October in Europe.
She ended by saying, “I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support. Love, M.” The Celebration Tour is scheduled to have an 84-day tour, marking the 40th anniversary of Madonna’s career. The tour was supposed to start on July 15th from Vancouver, Canada.
It was last reported that Madonna was immediately rushed to intensive care at a New York hospital, where she was unresponsive. She had to be intubated for a night and rushed to intensive care. Her manager said, “She developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.”
