Jackson Wang, Paris Hilton Steal The Show With Their Met Gala 2023 Debut!
The Met Gala 2023 was held last night with the theme of celebrating the life and art of Karl Lagerfeld. The theme is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” celebrities and stars gathered to look their best and channel their Chanel beauty. Among the ones who made their Met debut were heiress Paris Hilton, KPop Star Jackson Wang, and Blackpink’s Jennie.
The legendary star, Paris Hlton, made her Met debut. The forty-two-year-old star stepped out of her comfort zone for the first time and adorned a black leather dress for her first Met! She collaborated with Marc Jacobs and the result was a mermaid gown that was crafted with beautiful rhinestones on her gloves and bustier. She completed her look with a black rosette choker and sparkling platform heels for the event!
Stars who made heads turn with their Met Debut apart from Hilton were K-Pop star Jackson Wang, South Korean Actress Song Hye Kyo, and Bollywood actress Alia Bhaat.
Jackson Wang made his first appearance at the Met Gala 2023 in a black Louis Vuitton suit with black shades and gloves, paying homage to Karl Lagerfeld’s signature look. On the other hand, Song Hye-Kyo stunned the viewers with a set of Fendi blouses and skirts in the color blush pink, that was styled by Kim Jones, for her debut. Jennie Kim, who is also the brand ambassador of Chanel, openly shared her adoration and love for the brand. The performer dolled herself in a white Chanel vintage mini dress. She finished her outfit with black tights and high heels. While it is true that Jennie’s appearance and her Met debut were much awaited, her custom-made dress failed to leave a mark.
Alia Bhatt looked extremely pretty in her bride-like white Chanel dress. In her Instagram post, she mentioned that her look was inspired by the “supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look.”
