Selena Gomez's Single Soon

“I love you Cece, never worry about boyfriend at all.”

Selena Gomez’s new single “Single Soon,” released on 25th August, is surely going to make the weekend most special for her girlfriends. From the first frame to the last, this song is about celebrating who you are and how you should be living on your own terms. It also celebrates singlehood and chucks off the mushiness attached to usual “breakup stories.”

Anticipations were high when the queen of Instagram shared.

“Y’all have been asking for new music for a while. Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer. SINGLE SOON. August 25th. Presave it now. 😘”

The post came with a gorgeous “Single Soon” artwork. She also teased her fans with many BTS posts from Single Soon. Fans had to wait weeks to finally have this infectious and catchy number from Gomez on the 25th.

The song is packed with power, grandeur, peppiness, and familiar sounds to connect easily. As of today, the song has garnered 6M views on YouTube. The electric dance number is something that’s going to grow bigger and better with everyone hitting the dance floor this weekend. Girls will let their hair fall loose and dance their hearts out.

We can’t agree more with Gomez when she says this song is about celebrating freedom and choices in a relationship. It’s okay if one partner does not want to remain in a relationship.

And the lines, “Ima date who I wanna/ Stay out late if I wanna,” sum it all for the song. The singer also thinks that this song is something that will make people happy and it will connect with many.

From the very first frame of the music video, Gomez is present with her infectious charm. She looks drop-dead gorgeous in her shimmery short top, featuring a plunging neckline with denim shorts, a pearl necklace, and golden hoop earrings.

Her messy, updo hair with tresses caressing her pretty face perfectly matched the free spirit of the song. Later, she lets her hair fall loose as she toasts a drink while partying with her friends.

There’s no way to “Calm Down,” girl!
